Your Guides

Hi there,

I’m Kye! (@yoga.with.kye on IG), also the founder of Out There Yoga: experiences where nature and yoga meet!

I grew up adventuring outdoors, Camping, Backpacking, Hiking etc. and continue to explore outdoors now more than ever! There is nothing I love more than a weekend away from screens surrounded by the wild wisdom of the natural world. From the woods to open desert, to mountain peaks- every trail I've trekked and every campfire I've sat around has deepened my bond with not only nature but also myself.

This retreat, set in the beloved mountains of my hometown, is more than just an escape. It's a return home. It’s an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the tranquility of nature, and to rediscover the strength and harmony within ourselves. Join me for a weekend in the wild!

I can't wait to share this journey with you, to guide you through the paths I've walked and to explore new horizons together!

Mackenzie Fritz is an avid backpacker, yoga teacher, movement lover, and overall frolic enthusiast. @f.y.e.outdoors on IG

After spending many years using every available work break to go on backpacking trips throughout Colorado, Arizona, and California, she finally took the plunge in Fall 2024 to face her fears and attempt thru-hiking. This past December, she successfully completed her solo thru-hike of the Arizona Trail, which spans 800 miles from the Mexico border to the Utah Border.

Now that she is back from living the trail life, she is so stoked to partner with Out There Yoga as a co-leader for the Spring yoga + backpacking retreat! She is passionate about connecting more women with the outdoors, lowering barriers to getting outside, and building community. When she isn’t spending time soaking up the sunshine and going on dirt walks, you can catch her trying out new fitness classes, reading, or working on all things business related as she gears up to launch her small business, Find Your Edge Outdoors. She is so excited to get outside with you!
